Life With Ella

Ella loves taking baths and swimming in the pool, but she hates the shower and really doesn’t like water that’s not still.  Yesterday at the Barsamian’s house, with the help of Peter, Emily and David, Ella conquered her moving water issue.  She was a little scared at first, but after a few minutes and some encouragement she ran around and in the sprinkler.  Here is a little video…

We miss you so much Sunny/Mommy! Can’t wait to see you on Sunday.

Ella really misses her best friends Stella and Juliet.  She constantly talks about them and sings about them.  Yesterday she made me show her the zoo video at least 5 times.  She was so proud to show her friends to grandma and papa.  She watched the video and pointed to the girls and looked at grandma and papa and yelled, “Stella”  “Juliet”.  What a smile she had on her face.  Here is a little video for Stella and Juliet that Ella made this morning.

Today is aunt Heather’s birthday.  She is in LA right now with uncle Jesse.  Since we can’t be together, we wanted to give Heather a birthday shout out.  HAPPY BIRTHDAY HEATHER!

Today we went to the zoo with Stella, Juliet and Julie – Helen’s sister.  The girls had a great time.  They saw a lot of animals, went on a train ride and ended the day on the carousel.  Of course I made a zoo movie.  Enjoy…

Ella is singing so much these days – it’s beautiful. Today, she was playing around with Elmo and Cookie Monster and began singing the classic Sesame Street song “Somebody Come and Play”. Luckily, I caught it on video.

Ella is now working on another part of Jamie’s song. She’s probably the only 20 month old in the world sing the word “untenable”.  I’ll put the clip of Jamie’s song up again so you can hear the beautiful original. The second part of the video is me sneaking up on Sunny and Ella while Sunny was giving Ella a bath. Ella just loves singing – she sings everywhere. Sometimes she really surprises us with lyrics that she knows!

We had a great weekend. We hung around the house, ran around with the dogs, went swimming, went to the park, went to the carousel, had dinner with friends, and just spent some quality time together. I put together a little movie showing parts of our past few days.
