Today was a fan fest across the street at the ballpark. Sunny had to work there for the Giant’s Community Fund Board so we decided to go early as a family and walk around. Ella was really excited to see Lou Seal the mascot. We all walked around and then we sat in the stands and got some french fries and hung out. The field was full of dirt from the motorcycle thing that they did 2 weeks ago, so there wasn’t anything going on on the field. There was a live radio show happening and people were clapping from time to time so Ella joined in with the clapping – very cute. After that, mommy had to go to her volunteer stand and I took Ella up to see Lou Seal. Lou Seal won’t hold a child alone, so I had to ask these strangers to take a picture of us with Lou Seal. Then Ella told me that she wanted to see Charlie Brown. She posed for a picture with the Charlie Brown Met Life statue and as we were walking back to go see mommy, we saw Lou Seal again. He bent down so that Ella would walk over to him, and she did – hesitantly, but she did. It was so cute. At one point she did this little shuffle over to him so that she could touch his hand. We had a great time. We went to say goodbye to mommy so we could go home and have lunch/take a nap and Ella didn’t want to leave mommy. She kept saying, “Where is mommy? I want a kiss from mommy. I want to see mommy”. I explained that mommy had to work for a little while. Sunny is home now and Ella is napping and I’m sure she will be very happy when she wakes up and sees mommy.
Getting ready to go to the fan fest. Ella let me carry her backpack.

My friend Charlie Brown
OK – I think I want to go over there and see you…
I’m starting my shuffle dance over to you…
There – I reached my goal – I touched your hand!
I wish I had my sunglasses!
Walking down the ramp like she owns the joint
I love you mommy
Looks like you guys had a beautiful day. Can you imagine Ella at a Macy’s Thanksgiving parade, with the Charlie Brown balloon! Maybe next year. Love you. Mom
